Really? is that the case with 670s also? because I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU within a few months... lol

and a 4GB 670 is one of my candidates.

Poor lighting, but here's a shot of the progress. I'll try to get some better shots when I finish.

The main hardware is as well as the PSU (Just for show right now).

Cable management time :/

Did you test fire it up to at least get a BIOS?

Power up will happen within the hour biggrin.gif

As for the clearance, zero issues. Asus picked an odd spot to drop the 8 Pin 12v CPU power slot, however it worked out well. The rad completely hides it!

These extended length PSU cables are a dream.

Man the Cosmos II is so nice. Makes those full size boards look like micro boards.

Wow, very nice build! And congrats on the promotion - at least you know how to reward yourself properly! biggrin.gif

I wasn't aware of the Cosmos II case when I built my rig last fall. It's the first case I've seen that would be a tough decision between it and my HAF X, if I had to rebuild my system today; I would say that the Cosmos has the edge in features over the HAF - it would entirely be a cost/benefit analysis of the $100 price differential. My price justification to myself when I purchased the HAF X is that I would keep it for future builds... now you have me actually considering how to justify (again) a case purchase in the future! Thanks for that! tongue.gif

I'm also interested in what you think of the U3011. Dell has them on sale right now for $999, and I'm considering pulling the trigger. My twin 24" ASUS monitors were a compromise I had to take when building my rig, and I frankly miss the Dell Ultrasharps that I've grown accustomed to. Recently from the Dell line I've only seen the U2412M in person, and even it puts my monitors to shame. The U3013 is due in March as well, but it will almost certainly have a $1500+ price tag at first. In any case, I'll probably have to purchase a second video card as well, as my single GTX 570 probably won't drive a 30" monitor properly in late-gen games.

Congrats once again on your rig; the thought and effort you put into this build is evident! I'm looking forward to your updates.
