When does this get released in North America? It seems to be available in Germany and other European areas but I've yet to see a single retailer carry this.

yes it's available in europe and it seems it doesn't use PWM (according to Benq website). can't wait for more info on this model because previous GW2450hm got good reviews.

not sure what Koehler was trying to say, 1080p is perfect res for a 24". maybe he was just trolling.

The BenQ website only specifically mentions a 'flicker free backlight' (i.e. no PWM flickering) for the GW2760HS. I will be reviewing both of these models after they are available here in the UK (end of February). I have also asked BenQ about US availability and they simply said that they can only confirm a UK and Europe release at this stage but that they do hope to launch this model in the US at some point.
