Is my GPU the problem? Artifacting and crashing

A month after I got my new 670 I noticed it would not overclock, so I left it alone. Games started crashing, I would have driver crashes frequently and now I am getting really bad artifacting when I play games. After a while my battlefield 3 always freaks out. Items disappear, flicker and go all sorts of odd colours and I have weird yellow and red flickering, entire frames are red/yellowish. It's not overclocked and I make sure it stays under 70c at all times. I also get completely distorted text to the point where I can't make it out and an R for example, will change to an O and all the text looks blurry and smudged.

Reinstall drivers, you could also try to Flash a new bios onto the card but i wouldn't. If the reinstall does not work, send in for an RMA.

What the kind of PSU are you using now? and can you give me a SS of the Artifacting which you got on battlefield 3?

Friend of mine had the same thing with his 580. Would get constant artifacts, driver crashes, even just on desktop. Ended up sending it in for a RMA and replacement worked fine.

I have seen a couple of the 670's do this and it wasn't anything at fault other than the GPU's themselves. They returned them and it was confirmed that they were faulty.

RMA for sure.

If those pictures are you representing the artifacts, a print screen can not show them.

Looks like PS3 version of BF3.

Where are the BF3 PC screenshots?

I had to use fraps to get them, and then converted them so I could upload them here. I don't have the full version.

Yes, I know. It's to the point where there are random lines and flashing red/yellow on the screen and rainbow-like grain everywhere.
