Best bang-for-buck build?

Thread Starter
I'm trying to get the best bang-for-buck type of build.

It will be used mostly for gaming, the closest to hardware requiring applications I use are probably photoshop and visual studio. For now, I don't plan to do any overclocking so using stock cooling, low-power PSU, but I want the option in the future.

Can you guys tell me any better options?

If you know where I can get the same parts at other places for cheaper that would be cool too (I chose tiger direct for some of these since I would not have to pay tax in CA)

Here's the current list:

Case: Corsair 200R (Newegg) - $30 After Rebate (+tax in CA)

PSU: Corsair CX430 (Tiger Direct) - $30 After Rebate

CPU: i7 3770K (In-store at Microcenter) - $230 (+tax in CA)
- I wanted to get an i5 3570K instead but it's out of stock at my microcenter

MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 (In-store at Microcenter) - $95 (If combo deal still exists) (+tax in CA)

GFX: Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti 2GB (Tiger Direct) - $280 After Rebate
- I'm not sure about this, really want input on better choice

Memory: Samsung 2x4GB 30nm (Newegg) - $35 (+tax in CA)

SSD: Samsung 840 (non-pro) 250GB (Tiger Direct) - $180

Thanks!

I could go for a ATI 7950 instead of 660 TI

Sucks that you cant find 3570k.

cant you just order it online? You would probably have it in 1-2 days

I'd order the 3570k online, change the 660 to a 7950, change the PSU to something bigger so you have room for upgrades as 430w is really pushing it and change the Samsung 840 to a Samsung 830.
You are going to want to bump the PSU up to 550W.
