**Gaming PC build

Thread Starter
I am looking to build a budget AMD gaming rig! I already have the following parts:

Case: Antec One
Processor: AMD FX-4170

I already have my monitor mouse and keyboard. basically I would like a capable gaming rig that can run modern games, I enjoy a lot of Valve games such as Half Life, Gmod, and some others like DayZ, I just want something that can run modern games and make it playable thumb.gif

I can probably stretch it a little if need be, but my budget was around $500. Although if I can get it lower without sacrificing quality that'd be great!

here is what i would do:
Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 $105

Ram
Samsung "Wonder" Ram 8GB $35

Video Card
EVGA GTX 650Ti $140

Hard Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB $70

Power Supply
Rosewill Green Series 630W $60
Optional (Click to show)
Samsung 840 Series 120GB $100
this will give much faster boot times than a traditional HDD

Thanks for the input! Is there a big difference between the GTX-650ti and the Radeon 7850?
7850 destroys it.

This. If you can find a 7850 for a decent price, go for it.

So I'm guessing the second build posted is probably the way to go?

I would take the best from both builds.

- Samsung RAM (2 x 4GB)

- Gigabyte 7850

- Seasonic 520W

- Gigabyte GA-970

- WD Caviar Black
