Nah, more of the "If you want max settings +3D or 1440p".

Next time you play FC3 wade into the water then look down. OH LORD IM A GHOST. Thank god for 'real time' reflections.

hmmm. move over metro... theres an all new resource hog in town

i have a feeling they may have gone a little overboard with tesselation just to push ppl to buy systems with a flagship card in it. either way i see this as a perfect excuse to upgrade a rig, or add another card.

looks like ill be in the market for a few 4gb 680s here soon.

My rig barely makes the cut (2700k, 680, 8gb ram). I built this less than a year ago. I was optimistic about being fine for about a year. Looks like it might not even make that frown.gif.

what I find odd is that the recommend a 4 core AMD CPU but recommend a 2600K (instead of a 2500K) on the Intel side.

Is Crysis 3 going to be using hyper threading? To me it looks like it will, dunno why (hey didn't recommend the 8 core AMD CPUs.

Lol that's something inherent in all First person shooters. The character themselves is never rendered in most FPS games (Some simulations like ARMA actually render your character). Realtime reflections or not, the character just isn't rendered in game.

Only the Xbox 360 has DX9.
All other consoles use OpenGL.
