how much free space?

Also, it could be time to do a secure erase and reinstall/reimage.

I installed Win8 like 2 weeks ago tops.
35GB Free.

PartedMagic told me the disk already has a Secure Erase option and I ran it.
So yeah.

What do you mean parted magic told you? I've never had nor heard of it telling me anything about S/E...

Which option did you use? Internal or external for the S/E?

Did you do as in this guide? http://www.overclock.net/t/1330867/christmas-2012-giveaway-crucial-m4-128gb-ssd

Also, disabling any powersaving features like speedstep and C states can help improve speeds.

I followed a guide and I chose Internal writes zeroes to entire data or something.
It told me that the disk had one, and it recommended me to run that instead (via parted magic) which took 5 seconds and it was done.
