Um...Meego was around before WP, right? Even if it wasn't, it's definitely not a WP clone...maybe do some reading of the actual article?

They have built that off of Meego, which was a joint Intel and Samsung Linux OS, but was later abandoned in favor of Tizen(and in some ways, Android).

Though I'm not sure if any previous versions had the live-tile-esque elements.

I'm sorry, but what is so interesting about this? I can't even see half the text due to the colors being so similar. Thank you colorblindness! thumb.gif

Though what I could see, it just looks like a bit more annoying Android. Gestures are cool and all, but sometimes all you need is a single tap of a button. Not impressed.

I'm using wp7 now, but I won't take the wp OS seriously anymore until they fix the seriously godawful app switching. It's incredibly slow and cumbersome.

Do you know how hard it will be for the average joe to use that phone with all those swipe gestures and shortcuts. People can't figure out android and all you have to do is tap on stuff.

Sure it is cool, not very practical though.
