Will my PSU be enough for an Asus GTX 670 DCII? - Page 3

Oh ok haha. For a complete newb like me, it's really hard to get past the minimum rated wattage because there's this thought lingering in my mind that it won't be enough. But seeing as how educated you are on this subject I'm going trust you and get the 450w Capstone. smile.gif

Well, you got me on this one.

I wanted to get the 650 watter, but somehow the 750 was 4$ shipping while the 650 15$. They also were the same price.

Also is the modular one worth the extra money? Does it help in terms of airflow etx?

Yes, get the modular. I regret going for a non modular psu, i'm almost happy that mine started to cause whine, actually, because I could order a modular capstone without feeling too bad.

The cable management alone is worth the extra.

Why did you change your mind? The Capstone would have been excellent.

I read bad things about Logisys power supplies..

Ah bad news frown.gif The 450M is out of stock on Newegg. I can't buy from any other store because I have store credit from Newegg.

I want something quickly, how much of a downgrade from the capstone is this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151119&Tpk=Seasonic%20550

Because if it's not that much of a step down from the capstone I might as well just go ahead and buy it.
