Well just to update this thread... I reseated the heatsink, and I still started to hit past 72c when I tried to OC it @ 4.0 using 1.48v with LLC enabled... So far, I reset the voltage back to stock clocks and I am trying to OC it little at the time. I am running prime right now for about 30 min with small fft's @ 3.7Ghz using the stock voltage. Max temps are 58c and idle at around 36c but so far stable on prime with small fft's. what would you guys propose the max temp for this CPU? I know a lot of people say don't let your CPU run past 50c but isn't that somewhat low?

Another update. I OC it @ 3.7Ghz using 1.325v, LLC enabled, Cool n Quiet off and C1E off. Ran prime with large fft's for 30 min. no crash and my maximum temps were 58c. I'm going to see If I can just OC it to about 3.8Ghz and if it's stable, I'm gonna call it a day and say this might be the wall for this CPU. Too bad as I wanted to OC this thing to about 4.0Ghz...
