Catalyst switchable function choosing intel 4000 over amd 7670m as high performance - Need Help!

Thread Starter
My dell is choosing intel 4000 gpu in high performance mode over the dedicated amd 7670m 1gb card. When I play blacklight retribution it gives a warning message about using the 4000 chip and that I need updated intel drivers -

I want it to choose AMD.

Is there anywhere you can find in catalyst or system setting to definitively define which gpu is consider "high performance" gpu? Intuitively it should be the AMD, but not definitely - Considering what my system is using in game.

Thanks,
Jyk

Uninstall all your drivers completely (using ATIMAN or something),
Uninstall the HD4000

The dell drivers are outdated and Bad

I had the same issue with my vostro 3550 from dell (6630m)

Install this,

http://leshcatlabs.net/

Found in the blog section.

Bare in mind these are user made drivers...but they solved every problem for me and increased performance.

My GW2 now runs flawlessly.
