Hmm i see it says WD800 but i can't make anything out that would denote 10K RPM. Is this even a raptor?

Edit: Here's another one of the same thing, but the prices are almost 3x more

http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Hewlett-...TA-NCQ-10K-rpm

But here on WD's site i don't see any 80GB 10K RPM HDDs

The 74GB has the model # WD7400 or something like that. Anytime you format a drive, you get less than the rated capacity, but still, the 74GB models (they format to less capacity) sill have the 74 in their model number and the 80GB models (which will also format to less capacity) are still called WD800

We're certain that that's an 80GB HDD, but it's unclear whether or not it is a 10K RPM or 7200

Wrote WD800 on it, but looks like raptor, lol

Taken from another post somewhere else:

"Supposedly the WD740 follows SCSI convention in labelling capacity more accurately, and supposedly Dell might have had WD relabel the WD800 to follow the ATA convention in labelling 1GB = 1 billion bytes..."
