CPU Fan work w/ Motherboard?

Hi, I need your guys expert knowledge to see if the ASUS P8H77-I can have a ZALMAN CNPS8900 Extreme fan and still be able to fit 2 LP memory sticks and an EVGA GTX 670 FTW + while still keeping the RAM/GPU at a safe distance. The fan is 50$ and i don't wanna ruin my nice card and RAM all because I was not knowledgeable about this. Thanks for all your help. smile.gif

It'll allow for plenty of room for low-profile memory sticks. The cooler might hang over the sticks, but that's not a problem. As for the GPU, the heatsink is 120mm across. As it is circular that means there will be 6cm from the center of the chip to the edge of the cooler. It looks tight based on pictures of the motherboard, but you'd have to measure to be sure. It'd be best to have the GPU installed when you measure.

If the Zalman doesn't work, the Noctua NH-L12 looks to be offset and perhaps mountable with the close GPU.

Pretty sure CNPS8900 will interfere with PCI slot. The Samuel 17 is confirmed to fit the P8H77-I. Thermalright AXP-100 should be out soon and it should fit.
