[Build Log] Dont step on my Landmine!

I was researching computers from about October 2011 during my highschool COOP course and learned a ton of stuff about computers. at the time i had only built 2 computers (my first rig 775 socket, and my mom/brothers rig AM3 socket) and i was starting to feel left behind. Anyways, after seeing The Dark Knight Rises, my friend mentioned that we passed a computer retailer (NCIX - lucky me smile.gif ) in a plaza that was literally down the street from my house (about 2-3km away but still down the street). My 775 was giving me problems, internet explorer would freeze and cause all my cores to run at 100%. The stock cooler got really loud and a lot of heat was emitted from the case, and i thought "Time to get a better CPU cooler" So that when I checked out NCIX. I had gotten about $600 at the time for some reason so i decided soon after to get a new system. Bought a FX-8150 and Sabertooth 990FX, and later returned them because things werent going anywhere. Went to canada computers and that when i bought all my equipment.

So my main objective was to make a new computer with the latest parts from AMD, since AMD is Cheaper.

Parts List

AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition (3.2ghz) Taken from my brothers computer - he got a 965 (story related to my dad's rig which he doesnt even know how to use lol)
Gigabyte GA-990FX-UD5 - sales man tricked me out of UD3, said there wasnt any SLI logo on the case
Corsair Hydro H60 Cpu cooler
G.skill Ripjaws X 8gb (2x4GB) DDR3-1600 CL8
Samsung 22X DVD Sata Burner
Enermax MODU87+ 800w 80PLUS Gold PSU
Bitfenix Spectre Pro White LED Case fans - 120mm/140mm
Bitfenix Recon Fan Controller
Azuentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 SoundCard

This is the final interior result:

Sorry about the delay...

heres the Corsair Vengeance C70 Millitary Green Mid-Tower (after I removed the fans)

I Love this case, theres so much room for cable routing IMO

And here it is after attaching the Motherboard

Bitfenix Fans on the Front Pannel

Attaching the Corsair H60 over the CPU

Now with front pannel drives!

Its MODU87+ time!

Connecting the Power

Securing the Radiator

Again tbc

Wow one month later... I really suck at this.

Ram Installed

XFX Radeon HD 7870 DD + Auzentech X-Fi Forte Installed

And the Drive Bay

Wow it took one month to basically finish this. I really am lazy, so sorry for that.

Final pictures that were taken:

I would have taken pictures of the back as well as the side panels but I didnt because I didnt get around to it.

That build has changed a lot since then; parts added, parts removed. Its going up for sale soon in different segments.

What I did change was:

Cpu - AMD FX-8350
Graphics - PNY XLR8 GTX 670
Fan Controller - Bitfenix Recon
Soundcard (Forte Died after 2 Months. ARGH!!!) - Auzentech X-Meridian 2G 7.1 PCI

So yea, thats it. I will be posting the individual part pics next (maybe tomorrow after school @ 4pm?)
