The problem is that the IB chips have faster cores, but SB-E has more cores. In terms of gaming with a single GPU, the 3770K is actually on par / better than the SB-E chips.
Haswell could very well have good enough single core performance to offset the extra cores that SB-E has. I am NOT saying that it will, but it is a possibility.
