I'd pay good money for them to bring this back.

Too bad I dislike the taipan design. Fron't end cramps my hand clawing. It's a superior palm mouse.

I just tried out this Cobra Jr Diamondback knockoff-- it tracks like crap on my QcK heavy and has bad prediction. Super comfortable grip though.

How would one get started down the path of bst, having a mouse made? I'd seriously consider it if someone could point me in the right direction.

First you need money to invest, than know a factory which does not bullsh#t you. I suppose.

Ask BST, he's a cool guy.

Save up about $10,000 is step one...

I can't really give out figures, but you'll need way more than that if you want a quality product. Simply too much involved for one person going in blind.

I'll likely end up critiquing BST's mouse if he plans on sending me one.

Wonder how difficult it would be to swap some internal components on this Cobra Jr mouse that's a design copy of the Diamondback.

If I crack it open and snap pics, could you guys figure out what would/wouldn't fit?

The issue will likely be scroll/switch alignment.

If you want, sure.

I bought 2, one full price one a refurb. The refurb never worked but I later dissected it an replaced the internals of the old functional mouse so it was like having a body of a new mouse again. The downside being the thing is still only semi comfortable. I dunno how mice can be produced for 30 years and they still lack a comfortable place for your pinky.
