Window mod on PSU

I would like to open up my wife's power supply, cut holes in the casing, and stick some windows in it. I saw this casing on Xoxide and thought it looked like a pretty cool idea. Unfortunately, that won't fit my wife's Silverstone Strider Plus. So if I want windows I'm going to have to cut them out and all that. Buying a new power supply is not an option. This one works wonderfully; why should I replace it?

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular modification. I haven't come across it in any build logs.

If you ask me there's nothing really interesting to see inside a power supply.

But whatever floats your boat... rolleyes.gif

The case is a completely transparent acrylic Logisys. Seeing everything is kinda the point.
