Best SATA Controller For Intel SSD?

Thread Starter
I recently got a new Intel 330 60gb SSD. It performs terribly slow. That's due to the AMD Chipset my system has. Intel SSDs do not play nice with AMD chipsets at all. I followed Sean's guide and did my best to configure windows 8 PRO 64bit. Write speeds are still below 70mb/s.

The Intel toolbox software does not work or optimize the SSD due to the fact that the AMD controller reports that it is in raid when its not (System is in AHCI mode).

I've tried turning off raid 5 in bios, got same results. BIOS is updated. Changed the SSD to all the ports. Disconnected all my drives. Tested memory. Reseated all components to no avail.
When the Microsoft controller driver is installed the Intel software works fine. Can optimize it, read speeds are better but write speeds are low.

I've been trying to get this thing stable for the pass 2 days. Is there any PCI/PCIE SATA Controllers that is known to give good performance and not break the bank or will it be cheaper for me to get another SSD brand that is compatible with my system?

My profile has all the info on my system.

It looks ok for a 60gb SandForce controller.

x2, it is about what you should expect with a 60GB sandforce drive. Test with ATTO to see advertized speeds.
