Here is the original thread, sorry for not integrating it here but I am not feeling well and would like lay down.

Are you sure that you don't have any remnants of a previous AGEIA PhysX installation lingering?

Which game is it, by the way, if you don't mind me asking? Or is this the PhysX installation of a driver package?

No, I have only had windows 7, installed for 2 weeks also if you look at the original post you will see I have scrubbed my PC 100% clean of nvidia drivers.

Yes, but AGEIA PhysX drivers aren't Nvidia drivers, and Nvidia scrubbing procedures might miss them. But thanks for the clarification.

Only issues I've ever had with Nvidia PhysX installation have been Medal of Honor Airborne (it won't install from physical media if there is a prior installation of PhysX installed) and Metro 2033 (version conflicts with the Cuda run-time .DLLs).

Sorry but none of those links helped me :[ but this problem is fairly common http://lmgtfy.com/?q=physx+failed+to+install and I have tried tons of these things people listed and it still won't install.

I FIXED IT! YES! I followed this article and downloaded version 9.12.0604 and it fixed it now to go install 310.70 and play far cry 3 in 3 hours :3 Thanks everyone for helping!
