I am planning on purchasing a custom built Sager laptop, but I just had a question for any savvy users who understand the Quadro cards versus the standard mobile ones.

I have the choice of the nVidia Quadro K3000M 2,048MB DDR5 or the nVidia GeForce GTX 675MX 4,096MB DDR5 cards.

From what I know, the Quadro cards are for video and graphical editing and are "much" better than standard consumer GPUs. However, the price difference is quite hefty: I can keep the 675MX (100 dollar upgrade) or upgrade to the Quadro (600 dollars added on top of the inital price). I plan on light gaming, but this laptop will mainly be a mobile workstation that will be used mainly for the Adobe CS6 suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) as well as 3D Max Studio. Will there be a significant jump that would be worth the price-point, or would I be better off using the 675MX with the 4GB DDR5 VRam (which theoretically sounds like the better deal, but I am unsure).

Any help or advice would be very appreciated. This computer will need to last me two-three years until an upgrade. Thank you.
