Is the 7600gt still any good? Or are there better ones for below $150? Tight budget..
Nope, still a good card. It won't be out-benching any 8800GTXs, but it'll play all games at medium-high.

Thanks. 8800's way out of my budget.. maybe when DX 10 games dominate most on9 games, den i might consider a switch.

I'd go for the X1800GTO.

You might be able to swing a 7900GS for about $160 with shipping with Newegg's black friday sale.

Lol.. newegg dosen't do Malaysia.. T.T still not sure... now 3 choices : 7600gt, x1800, and 7900gs... which 1 and y? can any1 one explain..?

X1800GTO.
Better image quality, volt modding through BIOS, overclocks better than the 7600GT on both stock volts and increased volts, etc.

If you can swing a 7900GS, go for that.
