"Remove the drive - Press a key to reboot" after splash screen

Hi,

I always get this message:
Remove the drive
Press a key to reboot

Just after the motherboard screen (before the windows loading logo). Very annoying as I always have to press a key to boot into windows. I switched device priority and the first one is my SSD.

How can I solve this?

This is a little vague. I am going to assume this has something to do with a floppy drive either bad cable/bad drive or there is a disk inserted in it...or Flash drive that is inserted in the PC while booting up.

Make sure that you disable Floppy drive and USB bootable in the BIOS.

This will prevent the system from trying to boot from that before the HDD.

Hope this helps,

I know this is vague I can't explain exactly when this began to happen and I don't want to give information that could induce you in error.

Actually, I flashed the mobo with a bootable USB. I think I removed it too early (don't worry it flashed the mobo properly). I think I removed it when it was rebooting.
Secondly, the mobo refused booting, it was sitting after splash with a blinking bar (this: _ ). I reseted CMOS and no luck. I removed the external HDD (the bootable usb was already removed) and I was able to boot.

I can't really tell when this begin to happen. I think it did after a bad overclock, I didn't understand why the mobo wasn't booting. I first thought the overclock was bad but after reset the CMOS, it was still doing that so the problem's source was something else. I then unplugged every USB port and sata ports & managed to boot. When I plugged the stuff back, I got this message.

It looks like you just answered your own question.

Plug everything back in one at a time, until you get the message again?

Sounds like troubleshooting 101.

Good luck,

Also I would re-flash that BIOS.
