UPDATE - Using latest 310.70 drivers will give you proper SLI scaling, no need to follow any of the steps below, just make sure you do a clean driver install.

Hello,

If you are suffering from bad SLI scaling in Far Cry 3, read the following instructions, you need Nvidia Inspector:

This is my config file (I changed my resolution to 1920x1080 because I don't know what's your monitor)

Paste in C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3

Change resolution ingame and test performance.

I hope you can fix your problems.
This worked for me using 310.64 and 310.70 Drivers, SLI scaling is a thousand times better now compared to the official Nvidia SLI profile.

Hope this helps others, all credits go to MaLDo from Spain, who's a beast!

To be clear, you don't need to overwrite the .xml config file, just go to Video Settings and set GPU Max Buffered Frames to "3".

Doing that and importing his sli profile to Nvidia Inspector helped me a lot.

Here's the .nip file for Nvidia Inspector, as the original link has been removed by it's owner: http://www.mediafire.com/?xm5xss29d0l3cna

Edit:

Here are my in-game Video settings in case anyone wants to try them out as well together with the Nvidia Inspector profile.

Hope this helps.

Are you sure it's the SLI profile that does it, or his xml config?

This is better than 310.70 driver? I mean, I get between 70~95% GPU usage for my SLI using everything ULTRA 1080p DX11 HBAO and 2xMSAA

Forgot to mention this is the same as 310.70 so there's no need to do this anymore.
