UPDATE - Using latest 310.70 drivers will give you proper SLI scaling, no need to follow any of the steps below, just make sure you do a clean driver install.

If you are suffering from bad SLI scaling in Far Cry 3, read the following instructions, you need Nvidia Inspector:

To be clear, you don't need to overwrite the .xml config file, just go to Video Settings and set GPU Max Buffered Frames to "3".
Doing that and importing his sli profile to Nvidia Inspector helped me a lot.
