Hey guys!
I've talked to a lot of people on Minecraft that would love to learn redstone, but they have no clue how to get started. Today, I'm going to launch a series of videos with redstone basics, tricks, and tutorials on how to create basic and advanced redstone devices. In this series, I will cover the basics of redstone construction, how it works, what you can do with it, and how to make some cool devices that you can possibly use.
The reason I think this is important is because with the exception of some videos I've watched on youtube, I am completely self taught on redstone. Most of the items I will be demonstrating I have either discovered by accident or though careful thought and testing. Because of this, and since I have no background in computer engineering or electronics, I figure that most other Minecraft players can also learn how to use redstone as well.
I will reserve this post and the next one for upcoming videos and plan on doing regular updates to these posts as new videos are added. If you have any requests on items that you would like to see (or attempt to see me make) please let me know in this thread, and I will do the best I can to make it.
