If I were in the market for a water cooling case (also brilliant as an air case) it would have to be the NZXT Switch 810. Since you are new to watercooling I'd probably go with compression fittings but my preference is to use 1/2 inch barbs and 7/16 inch tubing. The reason for this is that while it is difficult to slide the tube over the barb and you will need to heat the tubing (heat from your fingers is sufficient), the fit is very tight and you don't need to use compression fittings or clamps. This is just my preference.
