Good GOD that hurt...I'm not as young as I used to be, so that was extremely stupid, and I will be feeling that one tomorrow morning. Maybe next time I'll commission some help in advance. Now I have a long night of furniture building ahead of me, wish me luck! It should look nice when its done though. 6'x30"x30". Will fit my SM8 nicely. thumb.gif

Love love love big computer desks. Also too bad you're not around here, you could've had 10 servicemen in 10 minutes willing to do manual labor for a case of beer.

Good luck on the desk thumb.gif

I've got an old hand built dining table for my main desk, it's 34" x 72" with the two drop leafs extended and built of solid oak. It is one heavy sucker. I also have an old kit desk sitting to my right. Just about every square inch of space is filled, as well as floor space and a closet with computer or audio related stuff. Also have the SM8 in about the middle of the room on the floor.....anyone not used to maneuvering this room in the dark would quickly fall over something. smile.gif

Literally as soon as I finished getting the final touches done on the new desk, and moving the peripherals onto it, the case shows up! I feel like it's Christmas already haha. Pictures to follow shortly. thumb.gif

Picture Time (56K Warning-Lots of pictures!): So, please ignore my messy floor with all the wires and stuff laying around. I have been working on building that desk and cleaning up all day so far. That is next on the list. I must say though, this case thoroughly impresses me, from top to bottom, inside and out. This is the FIRST case I have ever gotten that did not have any major noticeable flaws or that required a RMA due to quality control. This makes me extremely happy. Anyways, enough talking...Time for what you want to see! biggrin.gif

Resting safe and sound on the new desk. A lot of work over the last few days to prepare for this upcoming build. Everything that was down there (Old rig, desk, peripherals, etc.) had to be broken down and taken upstairs and set up all over again. Then I had to build this extremely heavy, monster of a desk for the new build and start moving things back there to prepare for it. I think I should have gotten some help though, as it would have probably all been done by now if I did. I didn't want to inconvenience the wife though, so all's well that ends well. I must say though, it will all be worth it in the end!

Jim, if you find yourself reading this by chance, kudos to you good sir. The dedication to your brand and product are apparent in the quality and finish of these cases. This truly is a work of art, and was worth every penny...Thanks! thumb.gifthumb.gif

Addiction
