Woohoo! Good for you, Eskamobob1!
Colon cancer has run rampant in my family, with people as young as 17 being diagnosed with it and people as young as 23 dying from it. Now that I'm married and have my own kid, I don't want to leave him behind without a father, so I started taking a proactive stance with getting procedures and exams done to rule out the major issues that have plagued my family.

Glad everything looking good.
On your painting, I don't think you intend to do this, but if it were me I would not use textured paint on fans. Seems to me that could possibly throw them out of balance.
If you disassemble AP15's put that OCD to good use and make sure you don't lose any parts. I did and was able to improvise but I'm not happy about it.
Yeah, I do this in hopes to never actually have to have the surgery. 3/4 of my mothers brothers and sisters (she is 1 of 11), including my mother herself, have either had it before the age of 25, or have died from it before the age of 40. So it is time to take it more seriously since I'll be in my 30's soon enough. A good start though!
As for the paint, I planned on trying to use a gloss on the fan blades if I do them with a green that I get paint matched. Otherwise, they will end up matte black and the frames will end up either texture, matte or glossy white. I bought like 10 different types of white/black/green rattle cans to mess around with, but since I am trying to go with just the 480 up top for now, I actually think I am going to use the Noiseblocker eLoops in the front flex bay mounts while using the AP-15's on the rads. They are silent when used as case fans (not so much when used as pull fans on rads), and IMHO they are quite stunning looking (even more so with the matte white case
