I think the "in pursuit of performance" is too small and should be scrapped.

I love the green in the middle sticker...but having the background flame makes it a little hard to read. If you do something with a background flame...put a drop shadow or black outline on the text that overlays it so it can be easily read.

Will these be on the fans with the green blades? Maybe the outer circle could be green also?

I'm doing everything via Zazzle's website and MS Paint, so I have no idea how to border the middle text. The blade color is still up in the air, but will obviously either be green, white or black. tongue.gif It is all going to depend on how much other green there is by the time I paint them, and whether or not white frames would be too much.

A lot still has to be determined, so these are just ideas. I wasn't even able to do the border on zazzle. I had to find a picture of a white circle with a black backround lol. This isn't my area of expertise, so by all means if anyone has any insight or wants to edit some things for me I wouldn't complain. biggrin.gif

Here are 5 more layouts to look at. For some reason, the Zazzle watermark didn't show up this time, so it is easier to see. thumb.gif

You can get Inkscape for free, it has a "fill and stroke" function that lets you, among other things, add to the depth of outside lines (like the thickness on the perimeter of a circle).
Like I say, totally freeware vector graphics program, and it has some pretty impressive functions if you can learn how to use them. After a little bit you should be able to whip something out.

Is it all "free hand" style with the mouse, or is it assisted/automated? A super steady hand with a mouse is not my strong point. tongue.gif I'll probably check it out either way, but like you, don't see a point learning all the intricacies of something I will likely never use again. Thanks for the information though. thumb.gif

Love the 1st and the 5th. The green really sets it off imo.

Finally! My second MDPC package arrived (took forever this time, but well worth it biggrin.gif). I ordered a bunch of crimps, the crimping tool and some more sleeve to have some extra in case I need it (if I don't use it, I will probably sell it to OCN members exclusively so they can get it quicker thumb.gif). I tell you, the crimper Nils sells just wreaks of quality. It feels SO much better built than the one I bought from FrozenCPU. On top of that, Nils even sent some precrimped wires just to showcase the ability of this tool over all others. He was also kind enough to have sent me 4 samples that I specifically asked for so my wife can see them for when I do her build. Now she gets to pick first hand! thumb.gif

Quirky art from Nils as usual, and Hawaiian themed no less!

The goods.

Shot of the crimping samples he sent.

The tool in all it's awesomeness.

Sleeving samples he was kind enough to send for my wife: Aquamarine, Purple (which is nice since it is almost pink), Vivid Violet (Mayhems Pastel Rasberry Purple anyone?), and Shade 19. We're HUGE Ravens fans though, so I'm hoping she picks a purple so I can go all out on a Ravens purple and black build! thumb.gif

Another shot of the samples. My wife wasn't sure what she wanted her rig to look like, but she likes pink and purple like most other females. Her favorite color is aquamarine/ice blue though (would look amazing with some Mayhems Pastel Blue Berry).

THE tool.

Showcasing the quality job this crimper does, and of the crimps themselves.

Money shot of the shinies!

More to come soon enough, so stay tuned! thumb.gif

How large are the wings (the part that bites the insulation) on those pins?

They seem to be the longer ones that make better contact, and form an "M" in the insulation as opposed to not reaching like short ones. You can tell in the close up on the precrimped pin Nils sent me.
