Hmm... Bitspower hasn't made Crystal Link SLI fittings in white yet? Or do you prefer the black SLI extenders? thumb.gif

Sadly, no they do not make them in white (at least not at retail stores). I think you have to do what cpachris did and custom order them, and since they never got back to me after 3 emails I think these will suffice.

Once again excellent Pics Addiction...

Hmmh! My 2cents.gif worth.

Thought the sleeving green matching the coolant looked good as an accent with dominant Black and White sleeving.
Is it feasible to paint the Lamptron Fan Controller fan plate White. Knobs black??
I think Fan frames black with White fan blades would look the best. Old ground I think on this one.
Is it worth test painting a BP SLI fitting white for (Crystal) SLI (external part of the fitting only)??
How would a white accent on the GPU plates look to match the CPU accents. More difficult I realize, but your skills are very good. thumb.gif

I am eventually going to send the Lamptron FC5-V2 faceplate to Jim at CL to powder coat it the same white as the exterior, while leaving the knobs black with the hurled silver marks on them. As for the painting of the BP crystal link fitting, I had thought of it, but quickly disregarded it. I do have some of the longer ones though (that I am not going to use) so maybe I could try it out. Decent idea at the very least. thumb.gif

As for your last remark, I think I understand it but am not positive. Do you mean paint a white trim along the outer edges of the backplates? If so, I would worry about how it would look against the writing that is printed on it already. I could always just do a flat black on them, and then try and do a white trim. Just want to clarify that is indeed what you mean. I am not sure I would like it though, but I think I have a spare backplate from an older card I could try it on to see what it looks like (if I actually do still have it). And thanks for the compliment. biggrin.gif

Yes you got it. Trim is probably the better word. The trim on the outside possibly with trim in the center. Something reflective of the CPU block. I'm keen not to pontificate here as its easy said then done, so if it does not look right then please ignore.

The Lamptron FC will look excellent. Look forward to seeing it. ..thumb.gif

Nice build Addiction. thumbsupsmiley.png Yeah, I know what you mean by Bitspower being hard to get a hold of. I had a hard time making contact with them until I started sending them emails via my Yahoo account. For some reason they would not respond to emails from my regular Comcast account. Once I starting emailing them through Yahoo, I was getting responses within 24 hours. I just ordered $300 dollars worth of "Deluxe White" fittings directly from them this past Sunday. I believe the gal's name was Julie or Julia thumb.gif

Black frames with white rotors would be my vote on the fans. I figured the green would be a major pita to do, especially having to layer colors. If you go with black frames will you be painting them or leaving them as is? I personally think painted a brighter/glossy black would be the ticket, but you could test paint the side of one that won't be showing for a quick comparison.

On the sleeving, since you have the colors in front of you I won't attempt to advise on what looks best.

Is that cooling setup on the gpu's double? BTW if you stick with those Aquatubes what do you think they would look like painted white? Or is that what you guys were talking about vs using the Crystal Link fittings?

Thanks TPE-331! I might have to try doing it from my gmail then. I was using the built in "contact us" form on their website. Appreciate the input there. thumb.gif

If the frames were black I think they would look better painted too, Mandrix. The one downfall to me about the AP-15's are the aesthetics. The black plastic isn't very uniform in looks, but I have matte black and gloss black paint already if I need it. As for the SLI fittings, yes I have it in parallel at the moment. We were discussing painting the Crystal Link mini fittings, but never mentioned the Aquatubes. I am not so sure about attempting to paint those, as they have moving parts to them and I feel the paint would get marred up trying to install them. Maybe someone else has tried it though and will mention it to me.

So this is what I'm thinking as far as how I want to run the tubing with the 240 in the loop now. Decided to put the GPU's in parallel as well. Let me know what you think! Ignore the fans it says. They are supposed to say GT AP-15's, I forgot to change it and am too lazy to do it right now. tongue.gif
