[Build Log] Calamity (SM8/G1 Sniper 3 Water Cooled Build) - Page 44

I love the white fan frames.
I love the white fittings.
I love the white radiators.

I can't wait to see the green coolant in it.

Lookin' good my friend. Keep it up.

Thanks Chris! That means a lot coming from you. thumb.gif Oh, and let me know if Bitspower ever gets back to you. I have about given up on getting in contact with them after sending many emails their way... I really want to get the rest of my fittings in white (I don't like the black dual VID connectors or drain set up I have). They really have turned out to be extremely flaky in the customer service department.

I gave up trying. Flaky is an understatement. Even getting a response with a "no" would be fine....but no response at all? Unacceptable.

I'll probably go with monsoon fittings next build.

I completely agree with you there man. You would think that with the money we are willing to give them for their products that they would be more than happy to hear from us and help out. But apparently that is far from the truth. It really is a shame since they have the best overall fitting selection in terms of colors, styles and types of fittings. I've been seeing more people go the monsoon route lately, and may try that as well in my next build (wife's rig). Either that or XSPC, which I have a few buddies who use their fittings and love them.

I think using both black and white fan frames could work out nicely, as our friend from down under points out. thumb.gif

I will keep using Bitspower, they have more selection than anyone. Don't understand why they don't want to answer people, but a lot of places are like that. Probably don't have anyone who's job duties fall in that category, or they aren't "hungry" enough to care.
I just don't like Monsoon fittings in their current state. I don't have any "hard" 90's in the flow path anywhere in my build, preferring Bitspower's rotaries. Damned expensive, though. Small wonder some stick with barbs.

"MonSooners" fittings, now that's what I'm talking about! thumb.gif

Enzotech makes pretty nice fittings as well. smile.gif

It is indeed a good idea, and I have decided that the push fans on both radiators (top set on the 480 and front set on the 240) will be white frame/green blade/white sleeve and the pull fans (interior ones) will be black frame/green blade/white sleeve. I think it would look nice with an all white "trim" on the inside with good amounts of black for contrast. And of course the white on the frames being seen on the exterior of the case would match WAY better than the black, so that is another reasoning for doing it this way. This reminds me, I need to call Jim and get my Lamptron faceplate sent to him to get powdered in matte white.

I've looked into them before, they seem pretty nice too. Very similar in styling and color to BP fittings too.

I have mainly Enzotech they are good fittings and are well built, but they don't have the variety that BP has. I think I mentioned before they can be a bit chunky especially when you need to set them up at non-standard angles. The multi-joint (snake) fitting is not something they don't do.
