Mushkin and Corsair DDR2 800MHz

Thread Starter
I understand most don´t care about DDR2 nowadays, so I will keep it quick!
I have 2 x 2GB sticks of THIS running at 400MHz, 4-4-4-12 and 1.9v (if I recall correctly!). I want to add another 2 x 2GB of RAM but cannot find the same Mushkins. The closest I could find would be THIS.

So... 5-5-5-15 and 2.0-2.1v
5-5-5-18 and 1.8v

I know the Mushkins can do a lot better than that, and I suppose the Corsairs can as well. Do you this would work? What kind of timings and voltage I should be looking at (I want to keep the same 400MHz/FSB if possible).

You are likely to have to use the "slowest" settings to get compatibility, BUT that doesn't mean you might not get lucky and they will all work fine at the current settings.

Only by testing will you find out.

yeah that´s what I´m thinking.... that it should be fine sice the Mushkins can do 5-5-5-18 with 1.8v no problem and the Corsair can probably take 2.0v and better timings as well.
I just thought I should ask since I will have to BUY those sticks in order to TEST it. The other way I could go is to get 4 x 4GB of cheaper RAM, but that´s 4x the price and I might as well upgrade my rig then!
