[Build Log] 600T-Acrylic Bending- Formerly Vanilla Royale. - Page 4

After a few coats of primer sealer I could finally give it some color.

But not all is well in the cold polar bear infested Canada.

I gave up on trying to sand this bay. I royally destroyed the thing with epoxy then then gave it a spray paint haiyuken for the K.O.

After a bunch of burns trying to scrub it in the sink I read the label on this stuff. Apparently you have to brush it on then brush it off. Needless to say it works much better that way.

I hate this thing so much I may just leave it in its natural coat.

Sanded down the 240 rad and it looks alright.

While paint drys I guess I can start sleeving.

I am thinking about cutting these off. I have read that there not terribly necessary because It is a 1000 watt psu and that is overkill for my build.

What do you guys think?

Not sure about cutting them off though, That would be a pain.

Consider this a friendly bump, as I've never seen anything like that either.

Hope you get it sorted out. And btw, everything is looking great!thumb.gif

Thanks man. I realized just by me taking the factory sleeving off I voided my warranty so I just made notes of where they are and cut em off. Hopefully I dont blow something.

I would say sell that psu and grab a new one that is more friendly to sleeving. I've never seen that before either.

This, If you have enough time... Just delay the sleeving until later.

I'm with these guys!! That crap on the ATX connector reeks of "afterthought" to me. Like OCZ made the P.S. and only realized at the last minute that they forgot a bunch of crap, so they wired it that way as a last minute fix. You don't see Seasonic doing silly things like that. I'd ditch that sucker ASAP and get a Seasonic or Corsair. Just my $0.02CDN!
