Notebook VBIOS mod?

Thread Starter
Since bios-mods is basically full of requests & no one doing anything, I figured I try ask here don't think it should break any rules.. I managed to locate my VBIOS for my nVidia GT 555M. Apparently there is 4 different VBIOS in my notebook's bios.. 2 nearly identical GT 540M & 2 nearly identical GT 555M, NiBiTor will read the GT 540M bios but NOT the 555M bios yet it says its in the supported list.. so I don't know how to change anything with it now.. if someone knows how to do such a thing I would like the stock clocks changed from 590MHz core to 690MHz core & from 900MHz memory to 1050MHz memory, along with voltage to 0.92v.

I don't quite understand u have a gpu in ur intel cpu and a single gpu, right?

What's your laptop complete model.

I can explain to you how to do this. You need some tools and I'm sure you'd like to learn how to do this because I was completely clueless about this kind of laptop bios modding stuff a while back.

Well actually on Notebookreview there was a guy who walked me through the steps on how to do it, plus I spent a year learning about it all. Now I mod hp laptop vga bios and my Asus with GT540M running at 810Mhz @ 1v. I'm trying to get more than 1v out of it now and it's by no means easy.

My goal is to push the GT540M to 1.08v and 850Mhz... Some day, some day.

Anyway if your interested I can send u links etc...

Thanks
