Holy crap... I would never let my vcore go over 1.55-1.6 on my regor... That got me 4.0ghz stable and boot at 4.1-4.2ghz.

Keep it like that through the winter with heavy usage and a few 24hr prime runs and it probably wont even overclock past 3.8 next year.

Wow that is a good OC for that 250,I could only get the one I had in my wife's pc to 3.85.
But that vcore is really high.

I just finished reading this thread and I am now whimpering like the coil whine of a crappy capacitor. That slice of silicon just wanted to be put in an OEM machine, instead it was put to slave labour.

I've been using it at 1.55vcore for a very long time now, more than a year. Here is my 24/7 overclock.

Your chip has to degrade over time but then again why not help it die faster? LOL. Just joking. Those volts won't kill a chip for 5minutes. A chip lasts for roughly 10years and using it at 1.55v knocks off 3years at the max. By then your never going to keep your chip for that long anyway tongue.gif

I doubt Its stable enough to bench, I can try later though.

what is the ambient room temp in your area? what cooling are you using?
have you ran prime95 for at least 1 hour on it?

there are some members with the same motherboard and it failed on them.

It passed 9hrs of p95 at 4Ghz but i did not stress test it at 4.4Ghz with that insane voltage.
Here's the screenshot which i also placed above. Ambient temps when ii passed 9hrs p95 was around 35c. I'm using a stock Phenom II x4 955 cooler.
