Is there any way to do this build?

Hi guys,

This is a rather odd build but if it can be done, it would make my life a whole lot easier!.

Ok, here's the deal. I would like to have a hybrid gaming PC. What I mean by that is my current PC runs Linux Ubuntu natively and solely, which some of you may know doesn't play well with Windows games ( pun not intended ).

Is there a way of build a PC that once turned on boots both Ubuntu and say Windows 8 at the same time, but displays both on two displays ( that bit I can kind of figure out on my own ) so here's what I was thinking:

1 ) Have a motherboard that can hold two CPU's (reasonably priced and also on the AMD platform)
N.B - If that isn't ideal then a Mobo case that can hold two with double PSU's

2 ) ( This one might not be remotely possible ) Have both displays coming out of a single GPU.

3 ) ( This may never be possible ) Have both O.S' on the same Boot Drive.

If this is remotely possible, and can be done then how? And I want to try and get it as cheap as possible, but still have good performance and reliability.

If this idea is in no way possible then say. ( I know there are things such as Virtual Machines but they tend to be very laggy ( I've tried one on my current system which has 8GiB, of which I've assigned 4 of to both O.S' and it hangs quickly ).

Thanks.

Jamie.

I know you mentioned virtual machines, but IMO, if load windows as the primary (no VM), and Linux as a VM, there shouldn't be a lag issue. I'm running Linux in a VM and it's quick!
