Rounds up to about $415 before shipping on newegg.
This video card will run the games you way to play on at pretty good frame rates.
I changed the CPU because AMD FX is pretty horrible, and AMD Phenom is a pretty good gaming CPU.
Changed the PSU because 500 watts is pretty overkill.
And changed some other things as well. Take a look!

@cpu ..really...i thought 6 core fx 6100 would be better...

about psu...i wasn't too sure about 500 W either...thnx fr the advice..

does newegg deliver to india..(if yes...any idea about the shipping cost..)

They don't ship internationally.

With a low budget like this I would leave aftermarket cooling out of the question. He can always get better cooling if he's got the money. 40$ can be put to a much better use smile.gif

6 cores are useless for games.

Two links to prove it:

Secondly GT 630 is a terrible card for gaming. I would definately try to raise the budget for Radeon HD 7750 or GTX 650.
Also which resolution will you be using?
EDIT:
What do you have already, full list please smile.gif If it's not too ancient, I think it can be upgraded.

okay..i can probably raise my budget a little..to buy one of those...but i gotta...cut cost...at some other component...

i got a pretty...old pc...cant re use my motherboard...supports only ddr2 rams....only thing reusable will be hard drive and dvd drive...

have been gaming on console for awhile...finally decided to get a decent pc..smile.gif

My friend has a pretty good computer with DDR2, it's no excuse to throw a mobo away. If you just named the socket we could figure out if it's upgradeable smile.gif

One more link to show the edge Phenom II still has over the new FX processors.

It's not that 6 cores are useless, just that 4 are optimal. More than 4 may or may not be utilized, but with minimal gains. Depends on the game.
The real kicker is the bulldozer architecture (FX series) is not very good at gaming. The phenom II is better or equal in basically all situations, and it will be cheaper.

If you don't want to overclock, stick with stock cooling. AMD stock cooling can actually handle mild overclocks in some cases. But I would save money there.

Get the best GPU you can afford, that's your main component in a gaming build. I would even say save money and skip the SSD if it means a better GPU. SSDs are really nice, but they don't add as much to gaming performance. You'll see things like shortened loading times between scenes, but not higher frame rates.
