I found one on Newegg that seems similar but i want to find out if the dimensions are close. Thanks in advance.

inside measurements

dremel length = 23,5 cm

I take a look at you case "seems almost the same "more foam in the top\and handel for drawer" .

Thanks, it seems like the one i found is actually a little bigger which is perfect. For anyone who wants a dremel case similar to the one that TATH has you can get it Here.

Good for you. I'm just back from getting paint for the ceiling. So tomorrow i am in the kitchen again.

Ye "boys with toys" . the is one bad part in it "YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH IT". Gerald doing a great job with his build.
Hope to finish the coverplate this evening.
And i'm going to look at my account at Aquacomputer if there is any movement in my order.

Tomorrow your home right. How is the weather in Atlanta.

Here the leafs are getting brown and its getting dark early.

See you later "pizza is ready" party.gif

Working on the cover

Busy day but i got the feeling again "Need to build" So after dinner i spent a few hours in the back.
I first scrape of more of the edge with a sharp knife. Then i use proof sandpaper 800 grid with car cleaner.
If i take the time i need it work out fine. Its a precision job. So its not finished but i want to show you where it is for.

To hold the panel for the picture i put a pencil under the left corner. The protection film is stil on the panel.
The edges covering 1,5 cm on the tree sides. I still have to dril holes in the cover to conect the cover to the back

At the top right i'm going to make another small coverplate.

Henry isn't that plate where your motherboard will be....or what? I'm confused. (not unusual) biggrin.gif

No AQ6 yet, huh. Looks like it's taking a little longer than they thought. No one in US is advertising them yet that I know of, unless you count Aquatuning.

Hi Gerald, That is the back of the case. In front on a other picture you see the tilted motherboard. so you have behind the motherboard at the bottom 4 cm space and at the top 1 cm.
That space at the back i cover with this panel. behind this panel (at the back of the motherboard) i wil mount a ledpanel for the leds of the motherboard.

Had a look at the Aqua site but no movement in the order and no message of delay.

I see you having your hands full with mounting the metal plate. I'm sure you will manage. It all cost time.
The advertising here with them but the dont have them in store. Internet stores have verry little surplies. Thats why i order sometimes in the US cost because of the shipping tree times the cost but then i have it.

Got to work on the kitchen ceiling. So i hope to find more time for making the holes and treads in the new cover panel. I also have to charge the batteries of my new dremel.

Looking forward to your and Scott's updates.
Always fun to read what you are doing. smile.gifthumb.gif

Yah, I was a bit confused, too =X so i went back and found this pic prior to this new plate. You're plating just about every piece in the case, making a double panelled case !

before the back plate

and after with the back plate
