Bah not much don today,
I workt a few hours on the cover for the 24 pin.
First i measure out the size of the 24 pin hole made a sketch and stick it on the cabinet door in my workshop.
Brrr. it is getting colder to work here. I'm not made out ice but i like the tropic climate. So first i get the heater fom my daughters room (she always want the temp tropical) now it is my turn.
I'm hardly started and i already have to stop because the expect me at the firestation for the family day. Eat and drink (no alcohol for me because my dutty ends on monday morning 06:00). Now that i'm making the update ready i'm thinking about the middle of the cover "one hole" or seperate ones for each cable. Now that the raw shape is ready i can make a mall from paper "made in AutoCAD" to see how it looks. Bevor that i have to look what diameter the 24 pins cable have with the sleeving on.
one hour left i think it is time to play BF4 for half hour befor i leave
I think some one is screaming this evening that 20 degrees is to cold and where the heater is gon.
Wel it is 20 degrees and not "ice age" Ha i dont tel her where the heater is
O yes almost forgot pictures "i dont put them in the index because it is just the beginning" .
Sketch on the cabinet door. Ye i still have plenty of small pieces acryl to work with.
The box came out of the olde kitchen. I think i'm going to use it when i file the acrylic. Dust inside and the file stays on top. Instead of moving my file i move the acrylic over the file.
Almost two sides don with the file. In the bleu area i have to make one or more holes "ye oke 24 holes".
The more work to more fun i guess.
Top is for 24 pin, below is for the leds from the waterblocks of the motherboard and below for the sata cables.
Receive a message that my new raid card cables are on the mail.
It also saying when not payed for the shipping it wil tal 10 - 20 days to arive \ and payed only 3 to 5 days. Ahum where did i go wrong
O yes forgot to mention (orderd 8 x strips of acryl dark bleu 3mm 65 x 5 cm) for under the top. I wil flip the top cover on its back and mount the strips with countersink screws on the edge of the cover. I wunder how it wil look with the leds inside.
So plenty of updates to com.Edited by TATH - 11/16/13 at 7:05am
