35", that's the same length as my gpu wires. wink.gif

If you can't find any wire you should talk to someone on the forum from Europe or UK, surely someone knows where to get wire....or you can order from modDIY?
I get my normal 18 gauge off Ebay dealer 100' for about $11 shipped but I don't think he ships there. E22 sells wire but it's kind of pricey compared to US prices.

I dont mind doing it but as Mandrix said someone in the EU would save you some money, The wire from luthroO is great but after the extra for shipping don't know if it is worth it. You have a few weeks to see what you can find so just let me know!!!

He Gerald,

Scott got me som good wire . I can buy it at my watercoolingshop but it is softer. I dont want to mix different quality of wire. So mayby i have to wait until Scott is back. Ha ha i had no time today to work on the build because i had to get the tiles out the appartment from my daughter "there out now". But i am surtanly do som building this week. Still got som wire left and i need to now how much exactly.

Got mail from my watercooling shop that my order is on the mail (inclusive my new passive coolblock for the Aquero's).

It is already late for me so im going ofline.

Talk to you all soon again.

I'm not really sure what you mean by softer, Henry. All of my 18 AWG wire insulation feels about the same I think.
But there's nothing special about any of the wire I use except for the .0403" which I ordered specifically for the SATA power cables.

Have you ever used the 16 or 18 awg LuthroO wire?? It is a little stiffer somehow I do like it better than any other wire I have used.. I just wish he would not remove the information from the wire, because then i would know what wire it was and how to buy it!!!

I guess I could count the strands and measure each one of them to get this information but always been to lazy for this!!!

No, I never bought any special wire, never saw the need for it. I was just looking at one of the invoices from Ennis on Ebay, I paid about $26 for 4x100' pieces of 18 AWG in Black, Blue, & White.
I paid more than that for 2x100' pieces of .0403" AWG from Amazon.

I think Mike uses UL1007 grade wire, but I'm not sure.

it may be just UL 1007 but it is different than the 1007 i have got from Amazon and local graingers... Like I said it is stiffer but for sure it is not worth the extra money for it but I still use it for the PSU wires!!!

Ye Santa's her and brought me new bitspower connectors and the two passive collers for the Aquero.

Update from today "NO TIME" for the build had to do my slave work at my daughters new appartment sitting on my knees and hammering the gleu from the floor. After 21:00 hour i stopt.
Tommorow is another day.

Ye ye pictures i now "no pictures is now update right". biggrin.gif

When you look close you will see that the colorbath did not toutch al the aluminium. But the front is perfect.
The way i like it. If i have the time this week i wil mount them on the Aquero's
