Hi Henry I have a question for you regarding mounting the fans on the front PSU side panel.
I have NB 120mm fans and now I see that CL have this small pins that is in front of the fan frame, How did you fix this in yours? Did you bend the pin or did you cut it out?
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thanks thumb.gif

Hi Jotta,

Just use a dremel and cut them from the inside. U can also use a plier and bend them out but them you have a hole in the front plate.

I used a dremel to get them out. Keep a vacuum cleanernear the dremel or els your case is full of dust.

Acrylic support bracket "double D5's fitting in".

I juste started on my build again. Because the tube between the two pomps stikking out of the case i have to drill new holes.

This is how i finished yesterday. I had to even the distance off the acrylic at the left and the right because the bend was out of line 2,5 mm. mad.gif I think i need nor money for tools. Going to do it my self next time.

Had to file down 5 mm above the clear acrylic and cut off 2 cm from the front below.
The raw version is finished.

view from a different angle. Stil have to make holes for the cables tru the bottom.

mounted on the rubber Aqua Computer dampers ( 6 x). and just to show where i am going connect the pomp power cables in. Left Bitspower X-station. 4 Connectors for 4 pomps. Also going to sleeve the cables.

Now i have to make two holes for the cables to pass tru. usb, temp, aquabus.

Bracket flat tape on for the measurements.

Holes made "20 mm" and bracket on the floor panel so i can drill tru the bottom. The power cables getting in my new cable box in the pedestel and then to the left up under the black box in to the x-station.

Another thing i had to sort out was the leds. I had 3 x 12 volt leds in "the pull 9,5 watt together".
I wonder when i light up my case ho much it is then. Mayby i have another try with the 3 volt leds befor i drill holes in the clear side of the bottom.

I also going to drill a hole for the led powercable at the back.

Just had 3 x 3mm modsmart leds in.
It looks like the leds are more blue and subtle then the 12 volt ones.
Yes these 3 x going into the build

You mean the pump bracket? Did someone else make it?

For the first time i orderd with a few plates a single bend piece and what do i get a piece that is ofline 2 a 2,5 mm. So next time i bend myself between 2 aluminium strips or i buy a machine.biggrin.gif

Yeah, I don't blame you, it's not hard to bend with a heatgun. You don't need no machine, just allow enough extra on either side of the bend in case it's not exactly where you want it and trim off the excess. thumb.gif

Where do i begin.

It is a verry long weekend and normaly i am bussy with my build instead with other things then:
- helping neighbour with his pc problem;
- bringing my parents in law away to the airport the are going back to france "yes that is the country where there is more wine then water" .
- repair a laptop "so i can update my buildlog better".

What went wrong or not as plant:

I keep it short because you all want to see pictures instead of reading tekst "this is normal when you get older".

- The laptop had a power jacket problem. I went to a repairshop "piece of cake" cost you 100 euro and problem fixed. End of story laptop laying in drawer in 100 pieces because sudenly averything is wrong on the motherboard. rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

Got my old Toshiba back and replaced the harddisk with a new ssd samsung 840 pro. biggrin.gif

Back to the build. Had the feeling in my hole body that i need to make progress, redface.gif Changing plans flex Tygon R3603 in the back. And a couple quick discconnects.
After trowing it al in "just kidding" almost al connectings made. I decide to do som leak testing.

One verry small leak "problem solved". Wel the first loop is running.
"He what is that fluid in the bottom tubing". After checking it i found the problem at the front. Wrong connecting for the retour flow in to the res. Quick draining and changing tubes. Filling the loop with 2,5 liter of Mayhems X1 UV Blue.

Have to do som more testing. Something telling me it is still no good.

Here you can see what is wrong. The GPU loop tube is filling instead of the CPU loop.
WHOOPS there goos a cup of coffee over my worktable grrrrrrrrrr:mad:mad.gif

Gr "crap picture"

Still testing this loop.

Left pump running at 100% 4788 rpm and the right one 100% and 4762 rpm.

The two pumps and the flow guige and the res are connected with a usb cable.
The only thing i dont see is the voltages of my pumps.

Ha ha manage to read the multimeter.

Stupid question "why connecting all up with aquabus cables". And if yes what cables do i need.
I got a ton of cables.
Is it so that you have to make your one daisy chain aquabus cable "4 pin".
I have on one loop:
- 2 Aqua D5 pomps with usb:
- 1 flow meter "4 pins" with usb:
- 1 res Aqualis 880 ml with usb.

Sometimes you "I"forget things because i am so bussy trying to do one thing. So it will happen that i ask you again. Just because i forget the awnser.

I put a few quick disconnects in so it is easier to dismantle the hole thing.
Just orderd a few new ones from Koollance "like them better then the Bitspower ones".

If i look at my res i can "NOT" see a waterfall. But the guige is saying it is al moving 1,4 liter a minute.

Just for testing.
