I've been watching with interest all the light panels being done recently. I plan to do one for mine soon.

Watch my new build log Orange Madness for another light panel. I plan to make my process really in depth and I will be adding channels for the water to flow through on mine.

updat 57 "installing leds and drillinge more holes for the cables"

Need extra hole for the cables.

Because the are riveds ont the bottomi wanted to now if the mirror acryl i flad on the bottom.
"yes it is".

Old drilling machine broke down so i had to buy a new one. 25% discount "yes that is what i like"

Small piece of the wire sleaved. The other part i wil do when i mount the led controller at the back.
Ans i put special (tape at the back of the leds so it wil stick to the back) and i can take it off if modification are needed.

Hole for the cable to the back.

A first glimp of the leds "just one part mounted to the back" and just 50% of the leds are in.

Full power "to brigh"

O you want green oke biggrin.gif

Mayby i tri the opaal panel later this evening.

So now i can make my own crystal links. Got 2 orders out for tubing. One shop put my tubing on backorder so i went to a special webshop for acrylic stuff. And bought the needed parts there.

I wish all shops show what the have in stock and not let people buy things and tell them later al things are on backorder.

Back to you later "have to do som shopping for dinner now" . biggrin.gif

Digital Micrometer. Use them mainly to measure brake thickness on rotors / brakes for vehicles.... Can be used for other things also =D

I'm sorry if someone already posted that. I'm reading from start to finish to catch up .. Very good job

Someone else not afraid to make a hole when a hole is needed! thumb.gif

Looking good. I'm happy to report that using the Acrylite sheet is working out without having to scribe any lines in it. The down side is it cost me, whereas yours is basically free. Good work!
I don't know about you, but I'm ready to be finished with the light panel and move on to other stuff. Not that I have that much time into it, just seems like it, lol.

Hi Mandrix,

Just finihed 50% of the light panel. The top panel (opaal looks good) bud i dont now yet if i keep it. I like the bleu light. And i dont now if i get it out easy if the pumps and res are already in.
I think i wil finish this week with the panel for sure. yesterday i just the connectors for the leds bud i also solder a piece so i thinking of soldering al the leds and sleeve the corners.

I'm also have to find out i need to make more then onen cable for the:

- one cable for the power surply of the 2 Aquero's
- one cable for the 4 PA2's( 16 fans) and 2 pumps

I made a new powerharnes befor for the PA2's (1,5 mm)

I intend to use a 1200 watt i1200 corsair for the motherbord and graphics and the 700 watt for the lightning, 32 fans, 4 pumps, and 4 ssd an 2 3,5" disks.
this is a part i dont sorted out yet.

I also need to get in contact with Seanamus for his switches he uses. it seem to me that he uses the switches to switch of his Aquero. (i already orderd the switches but the are on backorder just like the extra 90 degree bitspower connectors).

i notice you go very fast at the moment. great pictures skill you have. I got a Pentax 5K but need time to sort things out.

I have a question for you:

On the ledcontroller is a connection (power surply) 12 volt . I used a 30 wat 12 volt external psu ( i wil use this psu for the leds i want to plant in my office) . Do you think i can use a 12 volt from my spare
psu to feed the controller.

aditional info:
the remote control hase a:
- on and off switch
- can dim

So i thought i dont need a FC8 to feed and control the leds because:)smile.gif the remote controller does this.

More later this week.thumb.gif

Greatings from a sunny Holland
