Update 61 "Acrylic plate for the top PA2's"

Never trow left over acrylic away.
Looking at my pedestel i thought "wait for the switches" So i decide to go on with the second plate
for the upper 4 PA2's. I needed a smaller piece but i just cut the hole length of the acrylic.

Measure out the drill holes take some time.

The first holes i drilt where with a old dril (disaster no smooth cut) luckily i made the strip longer.
So i start again at the other end of the acrylic using a new dril "this time the holes are sharp".

Now i have to countersink the screws. 40 turns with this tool and the hole is perfect.

O what is that "Support from my wife because cup of tee".

Yes finished

file a edge on the acrylic and a bit polishing. I can mount the 2 PA2's who are left.

What you dont see the screws. Yes right stil need to shorten 16 screws but that for later.

You're getting good with the acrylic. How hard would it be to bury an LED in the side of that PA2 panel and light it up? devil-smiley-019.gif

I think easy. Thats why i love the EK blocks with the 3 mm leds in it. Only the waterblock for the motherboard has no holes for leds inside.
Because i want the motherboard tilted i wil dril holes in the waterblock if there is room in the acrylic.
I like the new watherblock for the 690 and Titan from Aqua but i need to see som test before bying them. thumb.gifthumb.gif

Good idea for the PA's and also liked Chris idea to use LED's to light it up. Well if it will be seen it would be a good idea to light it up if not don't see the use in this.
