Well I know how to solder but I know nothing about led's and power requirements... of I should say I don't know enough to feel comfortable with them. This is something else I plan on learning...

Update 64 "painting the bracket from res and pump"

Came home early today, went for a walk with the dog. Now its my time doggy.

Went to the shop for can of paintspray "matt black".
Came home and dismantel the brackets from the res and the pumps.
Use a piece of waterproof sandpaper and sand the brackets.
Quick clean the rest of with ammonia and hang them up for spraying.

After 5 minutes the job was finished. I hang them on the ridge from the lights above my worktable.
Because al things i do is progress pictures are needed.

I also finished the leds in the second res. So the are ready for measurement later.

I got a e-mail that finaly the package with the switches and bitspower stuf is on its way. YES YES.
Now i can fill up my storage and keep building.
I also order 2 sets off vibration dampers for the pump to replace the soft rings.

Just a half hour and i have to go to the firestation for a drill with the volunteer group.
So no updates tonight. Yes tomorrowe.

Hanging to dry.

You cant see!! Oke closer look. Not bad.

Other angle. Stil not bad.

Mist a spot!! just joking. I think i will wait for 2 days before i can put pressure on the paint.

See you later tonight. biggrin.gif:D

Hi Scott, I think if we want we can learn it al. It only takes time and a piece of paper to write on.
For my first build the Corsair 800D i used al the films from the buildlog from Singularity computers "Singularity Beast II" I looked several times the same film for my shoppinglist. And learnt a lot from the comments.
I must admit leds are a complete new storie for me. I must learn more about the resistors. YES YES whe need more time a day.

Slowly the puzzle is fillled in. smile.gif

I would suggest putting those parts in the oven on a low temperate like 180*F or so. The paint will dry much faster and sort of bake on and make it more durable.

Hi jeffinslaw,

You are paricurly right about the drying proces, the durable thing its depending on the binding component in the paint. like polyurethaan or powdercoating.
I got a few certificates on painting, blasting with glas, aluminium, steel, rvs, and chemical treatment of metal objects. Also testing. pffffffffff boring.

Ha but you are right thanks anyway for the tip. I'm not in a hurry time give me the opportunities to make plans during the build. thumb.gif

And making comment pushing people to think about sertan things like how match power do i need. Without noticing it people start to work.
More work to do. "you still want to panels for the PA2's!". You didn't gave me a answer about the drawing or did i nod mention it to you. I'm getting old. "start talking to myself".

I was really joking about you making them but if you want to and you have time a simple drawing would be nice.

Ye no problem. I also make a drawing for the plate who hold the backplate of the mother bord. My friend makes a lasercut plate for me so the motherboard is tilted.
