Update 65 "working on the pumps + res"

Before i can do the sleeving i have to answer more questions:
- where is the power comming from
- how long do i need to make the cable and sleeving.
Many questions but more research to be don. I dont give up.

Drilt a few holes for the wiring for the pump for the cables:
- usb
- aquabus
- temp
- alarm

I now i can daisy chain the aquabus cables but if i can do this with the usb i dont now.

Yesterday i spoke about the paste i use for the soldering. I think the can is 40 years old.

I have see that Seanimus448 uses a usb hub and i thought this wil com in handy for my build.
Right now i have to look if i dont need another one beacuse the many parts i have to connect:
- usb from res + pump x 2
(pumpholder i think no use because cable already on the pumps) what do you think

I want to put the usb hub on a piece of acrylic at the back. I neede to now if i can dril a tiny hole to mount it to the acrylic. Found a spot. Still need to clean it. (later)

Da.....piep forgot to put someting underneath to avoid scratches on the acrylic.
If i need 2 i can put them on one piece of acrylic.

By the seeing of al thes wires it sudenly came up my mind i need to make a acrylic coverplate to hide those
wires.

More questions.
I got a Corsair AXi1200 and a corsair 700
Question 1: Is it better to put 2 equel psu in the rig. I got a double connector for the psu.
I thought that i can use the 700 for the 16 fans, 2 pumps, the leds and the 1200 for the 2 gtx 690 and
the motherboard.
Question 2: if i get another AXi 1200 does is take the full power from the power switch or does it only take the
power id need.

Yes Yes i now many questions.

I take som more mesurements for the acrylic i need. for the covers.
Find out tomorrow what is going to cost me again.

Although i took me along time to figger out how i'm going to solf that problem i still made progress by planning the next step.

Received the vandal switches today together with 6 more 90 degree bitspower connectors.

Wel that for today.

Looking good drool.gif

Also a power supply on gives the amount of power that is needed. So if you have a 1200 watt PSU and only need 400 watts this is what you get from it and it uses no more power that that

Thats good news. Have to take it all of if i get the new vibration dampers for the pumps. Tomorrow i wil order the acrylic for the back. I wunder when i receive my other 2 PA2's.
Much more to do. I keep the past slow its the best i think. ha ha and i dont get faster right now. Still its fun to do. thumb.gif

Wow that's a lot of time and detail for a PA2 mount. Very nice skills.
I had a square acrylic mount for 4 PA2's, but I pulled it out when I added the second Aquaero.

Yes it is. I modified the first PA2 with colors, then i trow away the other 3 and copied the first 3 more times. Now the are not in line shi............, fix that Monday.
Drawing cost me 4 hour.
I was working this evening on the leds pult of a piece of the strip trying to move the shrink tube. Tomorrow I wil use the connectors that is the easy way.
Mayby i have more time tomorrow. "And its cold over here 15 degree little sun" .

whaaaa .. ?? 15 celsius ? I had to look this up. Netherlands - The average high temperature rises to 63 degrees in May
As the spring gives way to summer in June, the average high increases to 68 degrees, and the average low increases to 50 degrees.

wth ?!?! Ok, I get it - your country is farther north, but still ... dang, you don't experience temps on a regular basis any higher than 80 fahrenheit ? or 25 to 27 celsius ?

But I see that the humidity percentage is routinely over 50% with spikes upto over 80% with temps in the 50s ! I can't imagine that !!
Must be that North Sea thing affecting the weather, no ?

Interesting to learn about another's environs.

Update 67 "Finishing the led strip"

I have little time this weekend for the build. "so more time for planning".
So sunday i had a few hours to work on the build. Because the connection of the leds aint a system like "click click" i had a hard time to make the connections" First i solder a few connections but ript it again with the sliding of the shrinking tube. Finaly i finished it yesterday "just need mounting of the controller at the back (when i receive the acryl for the back panel) . Because i'm not satisfied with the light and the pictures i wait until i move the system in the house again. Making pictures is another thing i need to learn more about.
Made a few holes to connect the 2 top radioators. used a sli extender to make the connection.

Just made a modification on the PA2 holder drawing. I also made a start with the making of a acrylplate to hold the flow meter (dont now how you call it in englisch need another name for it) .

It seems i cant add pictures i cant find the knob to add pictures any more.
