Update 107 "Acrylic wil be sent today"
Received a e-mail from the surplier that the overseen my order and that the send it of today.
No harm dun i think.
I ran out of cuttings disks for the dremel so i had to go to the shops again. Purchase a few mr of aluminium profil 15 x 15 x 2mm for my new light panel. I think i waisted to mutch time on the second hand profiles i got from my work.
Buying things seperate cost more then you buy a complete box. So i got the box.
Advantage of this box is you have all tools together.
The 2 u-shape aluminum profiles 15 x 15 x 2mm. No more waisting time and cutting disks.
1mm to narrow. Have to find a solution for that.
Eureka !!, Found the solution for it i strip one layer (isolation) of the waterproof ledstrip. And now it fits perfect.
From the left to the right. piece isolation\ ledstrip "stil have a isolation layer on it" \ unstript ledstrip.
So the waterproof ledstrip has 2 isolation layers.
Secondhand piece of acrylic. Working on the holes to drill to take away the dept of the rivids wich comming out of the front. I use a black marker to point out the places where i have to drill. And then turn the acryl plate on its back and dril a small hole so the rivids sinks away under the acrylic. Takes some time but thats oke.
So there is one window at the left. Stil thinking about putting a logo of my unit in a small part of the window in front of the reservoirs. I put som clamps to hold the frontpanel because i stil need a few extended standoffs.
I found out that the tread is not 3mm so it must be an american tread. I got two option take out the pieces with the tread or put in mm tread by drilling 3mm holes and putting screws in.
Measured out the length i need and put a few pieces of tape on the profil where i have to cut.
Fits perfect. Stil have to do the other pieces.
You now how it is when you put one piece in you have to see the rest also.
Last picture to enjoy it all.
Tomorrow i want to finish a big piece of the acrylic front window.
What do you think shal i put leds in it.
