Well i have to admit its a overkill. Its kint of a hobby and i'm addicted to watercooling now.
Yesterday i received my coverplates for the pedestel. Sow its not nere to finish now.
Still have to build in another 2 RX 480 and som 16 fans. I think i have to dismatel the case to cut som additional for cabeling and tubing.

O i forgot to metion "i'm gonna purchase a 30" dell later on". I think this project is will cost me another 5.000 euro before finishing.

Have to do a draw job for my college befor i go one with the build today. i will post some pictures this weekend.

keep watching:thumb:thumb.gifthumb.gif

Hi all,

Yesterday i started again with the build by cleaning the inner side of the radiators. Because my wife had to work i occupied here kitchen to do the radiators. because i already did the 3 other 480 radiators i now that is a necessary thing to do. after a few weeks i still found some dirt stuck in my cpu block. I think that the painter from XSPC had a bad day because he forgot a few places to spray. If some one from XSPC want me to bring in the rad for repainting then the have to send me a flight ticket first "i dont think the wil do that do you think!!!".
My friend how is also a firefighter cut out the 2 cover plates for my pedestel.
Today i put in the fans so i can see if i measured the cover plates correctly. I mist the 2 screws on the left and right side but i will manage that.

The next thing i want to do is to order some more things like:
- drill for the holes i need to make for the wiring from my fans and the tubing
- tape to cover drill holes;
- spray for spot repair of the XSPC RX 480;
- measure out the back plate and make a AutoCAD drawing so my friend cut out a new back plate to fit in a tilted motherboard;
- order some cable AWG 22 for my fan wiring harness;

So that will do for now. Pictures !!!!

Oke

new workplace !!

Filter system to collect the dirt

Dont tell me the are clean !!!!

Need some spot repair ore flight ticket to the States

Just a view how it looks

The place between the 2 radiators i want to place one Aqua flowsensor \ thing \ whatever

Just a picture !!

mounted one fan to let you see what i will coverup with the coverplate (it will be painted before mounting)

A view how it looks with the coverplate

now with al the fans in

picture how it looks from the side

and with the Pedestel covverplate back on (i want to put Silverstone dust filters on the fans before covering it up with the pedestel coverplate "what do you think" i want to keep out the dust

After 4 hours i put all the stuff back in the case

in the prototype i forgot the 4 screws so i have to do this later on.

Its Saturday morning 08:15 as i came back from the firestation (did a extra 24 hour shift to earn some extra money for the build).

Started again with the build off my pedestel. Since my last update i had to do some research on the air flow off the system.
fortunately i copied the buildlog off CPACHRIS "great build" 293 pages. so i had a reference book. I first thought that the flow need to go from the bottom to the top. A after looking over and over again ad som pictures i got a little confused. So i send Chris a pm to ask how he build the fans in in his pedestel. "From front to the back" . So today i started again with the remount of the coverplate and mounting off the first 8 fans.
It took me a few hours because i had to cut some edges from the rubber from the fans so the fan screw holes fit better.

I still need to get bigger screws for mounting the cover plates.

So now a few pictures maybe more tomorrow

needed a place for the build

and a new worktable for the tools

cutting table for the rubber

i cut of some off the edges from the rubbers from the fans so the screw holes are lined out

After a few hours of work i only managed to fit 8 fans an finish to fit the one cover plate.

i needed to now how much space i had left for the rest off the components so i put in the other (inner) fans.

Its sunday morning 10:30 and i start again with the installation off the other 8 Noiseblocker PS-2 fans,
This time i cute out holes in cover plate where the frame is connected to the rad frame. So i have to redo the other site later.
I "wil cut out the mesh on the place were the dust filters are "now its 'double mesh and dustfilters

Now its time for the other 8 Noiseblocker PS-2 fans, Pedestel on the bureau again

To make sure the screws to line up with the fans i had to cut of a slide piece of the rubber

This time i cut out the the screw places who connect the rad frame to the pedestel frame

I put on a pieces of tape to get more inspiration to solf the problem with the dust filter

On the place where you see the all. plate i will place a extra acryl plate wat covers the room between the all. plate and the mesh

I also will cut out the mesh in front off the dust filters

I put the power adjsuters on a paper grame to see how it look and to get a notion wat shape the frame has to be for the adjusters
I think its gonna be an upside down V with on top the power adjusters. Underneath i will pass trough the loop and the wiring from the power adjusters. The v-shape begins ont the edge of the fans so the flow will go up

So that's it for the weekend:thumb:thumb.gif
