This XSPC 120mm Universal Radstand might be what you are looking for to raise the radiator in the bottom of your case.

Very good idea and they are re usable on other rad sizes....thumb.gif

Might have to grab a couple myself.

I did buy a set of those actually. It only lifts the radiator a couple mm though, not high enough to get the fan positioned nicely. Unfortunately it doesn't have any options for setting length or anything, it's just a solid piece.

This is excellent! I have been lurking for a few months on the forum to spec out a system like this. Same case, mobo and processors, except i will be dual gtx 690's. For a fan controller i managed to get my hands on an Aquaero 5 XT. I will defiantly be interested to see what you do with this!

Another option if you don't want to use anti-kink coils--you can "cook" the tubing to shape.
I've got a link to a page with specifics on this method if you're interested, but won't risk posting them here.

PM me if you want more info thumb.gif

Sure man, would love to see how cooking the pipes goes. My pipes came coiled in their box so I used that to my advantage and bent along with the way they were already used to. I think I just did the anti kink cause I bought the stupid thing!

Did some more today. Got a lucky break with the radiator and found a good spot to mount the bracket in the TJ07 to hang it from, rather than lifting it from the bottom.

You can see the bracket here by the PSU, and then the next pics are with the rad attached to it:

After that, I put the fan controller and reservoir into place:

Is this a bad spot for the res...should it be where the HDD cage is so that it's the highest spot in the loop? I'm thinking that otherwise it might be hard to fill this thing.

Next, I need to plan out the pump and tubing situation in the bottom really well. I have one tube coming from the 680 to the radiator, from the radiator to the reservoir, from the reservoir to the pump, and from the pump to CPU1.

Things could get tight, these 2P motherboards don't leave you much room at all to work with.

Oh and I ordered individually sleeved cables which should come in today! I got them XL, so hopefully that allows me to run them up behind the mobo and take up little enough room to still let the case close properly.

how much space do you have between the back of the 480 and the other side of the case?

Quite a bit actually, probably enough room to fit another 38mm fan between the rad and the PSU, then the width of the PSU + a bit of wiggle room.

More progress tonight. Got all the tubing connected and the system up and running, no leaks, everything perfect the first time! I definitely learned a lot from building my Raystorm kit last time, mainly that unlike other things, you do NOT want excess slack in your tubing.

It didn't turn out as clean as I wanted, but truthfully with the rad AND pump in the basement, and the reservoir and chips at the top of the case, there wasn't a whole lot I could do to remove clutter. The res needed to flow to the pump, the pump needed to flow to CPU1, and the rad needed to flow to the res...3 trips from top to bottom that are unavoidable. I did my best with that being the case. Ended up taking nearly 2L of fluid to fill the loop!

Here's a shot of how it all connects in the bottom:

Here's how the mobo looks. Still waiting on my sleeved cables to clean it up at the front:

Here's the front with the fan controller and res showing. It's looking really badass I think:

Still need to mount the fans to the rad, off to the hardware store today to grab some 6-32 black screws to get the job done. After that, need to setup my RAID, drop in a 4x LAN port card and I'm off to the races!

Getting Q-Code 62 on the board when booting up, no idea what the cure is for this. Tried unplugging all drives, video card, etc., no luck with any of it.
