those are nice if you are building a large internal raid array, but if you are doing that, there are better rack mount server chassis for that purpose. besides..... 11 expansion slots? biggrin.gif good luck finding a mobo that would use that biggrin.gif it's about as functionally useful as the TJ12 biggrin.gif

I would look at case labs SM8. I've used them for two client builds and they both love it thumb.gif

it's the TJ12 prototype that will never be built because no mobo will ever be built to use that many expansion slots biggrin.gif i can sorta see it as a server chassis with passive backplane but server chassis generally conform to the rack mount specifications.

Edit:

here is the vid on it

didn't the big bang xpower motherboard have 7 PCIe x16 slots? I you filled them all with dual slot cards, that would be 14 slots out of the 19.
big bang has 6 slots. the 7th is a 1x slot for the sound card. besides, do you really want to trust your GPU to riser ribbons?
A lot of supermicro boards have the capability to do that many graphics cards. The X9DRX+-F has 11 8x slots, for instance. There's a lot of workstation boards that could do this, but more or less you'll need to do a ribbon cable bonanza as they stated in the video.

Even asus has some capabilities, back to the ASUS P6T7 WS SuperComputer with 7 16x slots.

That's a standard 7 slot board with PCI-E extension cables going to the cards.

Anyone with 7 cards that they want to air cool could make use of that case with many consumer boards.
