i5 OC Not Stable? Help Appreciated :D

Thread Starter
For starters, I have read a million threads trying to figure out what way to tweak my numbers but I haven't found a solution... I'm turning for some help now...

i5 - 750
P55 GD65 LGA
8gb gskill ddr3 1600

Let me know if I need to post more information... Appreciate it : ]

Edit: I suppose I should add that I run prime95 and another program (i since deleted it b/c i was pissed off) for an hour or two and its fine.. I seem to be doing something on skype or starcraft 2 and it just randomly dies... sometimes just surfing the internet...

I know you said you read a lot of guides but this one is the one I used to OC my set up, it will tell you what to set the ram at and give you a bunch of settings,  your set up is very similar to mine.

Also in my sig there is a link to the i5-760 club which should be of help to you also.

"3 step overclocking guide"

Hahh... Oh god... I didn't know there were different flavors of it!! I suppose I'll have to hope it happens again soon so I can look and see?

Where do I look so that I can spot it quickly when it happens?

It tells you the code on BSOD (near bottom of screen) t will be something like "STOP: 0x00000### "

Here is a brief overview: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic74712.html

You can disable automatically reboot as well.

So by looking at my numbers it's not possible to suggest to change value X or Y up/down a bit? I look at other people's info and its almost identical to mine (yeah, hardware differences)...

Edit: Is there a way to capture the BSOD code if its that important to trouble shooting? I'd like to be able to run prime95 and walk away and not have to watch the screen for an error code..

Code 124, all of them have been 124...

I was running Prime95 for about 3 hours while running Starcraft 2, 2 browsers streaming music.... Closed out of those programs so that only Prime95 was running and a browser, opened up the BlueScreen Code lookup program and it BSOD'd 5-10 seconds after opening up the program...

Any feedback based on this?

Edit: I see this post on Sandy Bridge 124 Codes, but does this apply to me too?
