Gigabyte 990FX UD3 speaker codes?

Thread Starter
Just got a new case (Blackhawk Ultra) and inside was a case speaker, so I plugged it in just incase... I finally got the system up and running, opened F@H about 2 minutes later I got 1 beep from the speaker that was about a second long... What does this mean?

What's the BIOS companies name? Major ones are AMI, Pheonix. Take a look should be around somewhere.

If it was on Windows I think that usually means a RAM dump or something similar. I can't fully remember but it's something to do with RAM operations. Or could be the motherboard reporting an issue such as power or something not installed correctly (plug and play device?).

Take a look in the event logs see if something has popped up, that's your best bet. Probably a plug and play device reporting issues. Hard to say without checking the event logs smile.gif
